(2022) On the final weekend of March, a special exhibition took place at the Mariakapel in Hoorn. The show featured a selection of 25 artists who live and work in Hoorn, each presenting their own work. I saw this as a great opportunity to bring back my art installation “VOGELSPOTSPOT.” During the exhibition, a special independent committee evaluated the artworks based on their artistic value, or something like that. The works that received a positive evaluation were purchased by the municipality. I’m proud to have been selected as one of the 25 artists, and perhaps even prouder that my piece “VOGELSPOTSPOT” was among the works acquired by the city.
