(2024) The moment had finally come. The group exhibition “Symbiosis” by Gallery Barkie at Vrij Paleis. Something I had been working towards for a long time. I created a special art installation for this show, titled “MISFIT?”. With this personal piece, I once again chose to be vulnerable.
There were many visitors and some beautiful conversations unfolded, about misfits, society, art and everything in between. Thank you to everyone who came by and to everyone who supported from afar. I guess I really am that “Small Town Boy, With Big City Dreams”. So a special thanks to the lovely mister Barkie for organising this show in the capital. I feel blessed.
