(2019) Not too long ago, I was out on the street smoking joints while people walked in a wide circle past me. And now, just a few years later — BAMMMMM — I’m in a book. Hard work pays off.
This past summer, I was approached by the publisher of the “Typisch” book series. They asked if I’d be interested in being featured in the upcoming book “Typisch Hoorn”. At first, I wasn’t really into it. Yet another interview, and I’d already done a few in a short time. But when they explained the concept, I felt incredibly honoured. Typisch Hoorn is a book that features 100 residents of the city of Hoorn. Of those 100 spots, 50 are paid for and 50 are earned. Apparently, people felt that I, as a notable character in this city, had earned a place in the book.
